On October 3rd, a severe flood struck the Tista River, affecting the Tista Bazaar and its surrounding areas. Various organizations, including the North Bengal Seva Bharati, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Rashtraservika Samiti, Kalimpong District, Himalayan Yoga Sansthan, and Kalimpong Bharat Uday Society, worked together to provide assistance to the flood-affected residents.
Efforts were made to clear sand and mud from the homes and roads of flood victims. Additionally, 40 different types of medicines were distributed to address the health needs of the affected communities.
The passage also emphasizes the importance of community service during natural disasters, stating that “humanitarian service is divine service.” It highlights the need for increased efforts in cleaning homes and streets due to the extensive accumulation of sand and debris caused by the flood.
Local organizations, government authorities, and non-governmental organizations in the Kalimpong area were invited to contribute to the cleanup of Tista Bazaar, aiming to bring smiles to the faces of the affected populations.

As Michaung Cyclone enters its second day in Tamil Nadu, regions where ActionAid Association is actively engaged with through multiple interventions, encompassing Chennai, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur, and Chengalpet, has been severely impacted, with heavy rain and wind causing widespread damage. Following a swift impact assessment by our team, it is evident that urgent relief measures are imperative to support affected families. Approximately 2,000 families urgently require assistance within our intervention areas, including homeless families in Broadway, Mannadi, Memorial Hall and other localities; people living in informal settlements; domestic workers, and residents of Perumbakkam and Semmancheri.

हिमाचल प्रदेश आपदा
Seva Bharti, Himachal Pradesh, today, provided immediate relief to our society’s brothers who were rendered homeless due to the severe floods in the Beas river caused by heavy rains. Through our workers, we extended food and relief services to those in need. The workers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Bajrang Dal, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad all cooperated together in this endeavor. We made efforts to reach those who were in dire need.
Our workers delivered ration and blankets to approximately 25 to 30 such families, including a family living on the other side of the river who were all alone. Unconfirmed information suggests that additional help, such as beds, will also be provided to those in need shortly.

सेवा भारती हिमाचल प्रदेश द्वारा वर्षा के कारण व्यास नदी में आई भयंकर बाढ़ के कारण बेघर हुए हमारे समाज के बंधुओं को आज हमने अपने कार्यकर्ताओं के माध्यम से तुरंत राहत के तौर पर अन्न व विस्तर सेवा की इसमें राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ बजरंग दल विश्व हिंदू परिषद के सभी कार्यकर्ताओं ने मिलकर सहयोग किया इसमें हमने कोशिश की की जिनको अत्यंत आवश्यकता है उन तक हम पहुंचे इसी हेतु नदी के पार एक परिवार जो बिल्कुल अकेला वहां रहता है उस तक भी अपने कार्यकर्ताओं ने सेवा पहुंचाई ऐसे लगभग 25 से 30 परिवारों को राशन और कंबल तलाई चद्दर इत्यादी से सहायता पहुंचाई गई अपुष्ट सूचना कारण कुछ बंधुओं को बिस्तर कम पड़े उन्हें भी कुछ समय में पहुंचा दिए जाएंगे
Odisha Train Accident: ओडिशा रेल हादसे में देवदूत बने RSS के स्वयंसेवक, घायलों के लिए किया 500 यूनिट रक्तदान
संघ के स्वयंसवकों ने करीब 500 यूनिट रक्तदान किया है. बालासोर (Balasore) जिले के बहनागा रेलवे स्टेशन के पास हुए इस भीषण ट्रेन हादसे के बाद संघ के स्वयंसेवक तुरंत घटना स्थल पर पहुंच गए थे.
एनडीआरएफ और प्रशासन की टीमें घटनास्थल पर पहुंचने से पहले ही यानी साढ़े सात बजे तक ही स्वयंसेवक वहां पहुंच गए थे. जहां पर दुर्घटना हुई उसके पास स्थित गांव बहनागा में संघ की शाखा होने के कारण शुरू में ही कम संख्या में स्वयंसेवक पहुंच गए थे, लेकिन रात तक आते-आते लगभग ढाई सौ स्वयंसेवकों ने दुर्घटना स्थल पर प्रशासन व राहत कार्यों में लगे जवानों की सहायता की.
करीब 300 स्वयंसेवकों ने रक्तदान किया
संघ के स्वयंसेवक फंसे घायल यात्रियों को निकालने के साथ-साथ उन्हें एंबुलेंस में बिठाने के कार्य में लगे रहे. घायल यात्रियों को अस्पताल ले जाने की शुरुआत होने के बाद बालासोर जिला अस्पताल में संघ पदाधिकारी उपस्थित रहे और उन्होंने सेवा कार्यों की निगरानी की. संघ पदाधिकारियों की देखरेख में स्वयंसेवकों ने रक्तदान देना शुरू कर दिया. यहां पर करीब 300 स्वयंसेवकों ने रक्तदान किया.
पूरी रात घायलों को निकालते रहे
राहत बचाव में देरी ना हो, इसके लिए स्वयंसेवक तत्काल प्रभाव से ऑटो, मोटरसाइकिल से घायलों को अस्पताल ले जाने लगे. स्वयंसेवक रमेश विपरीत परिस्थितयों में बोगी के अंदर जा-जाकर पूरी रात घायलों को निकालते रहे और अन्य स्वयंसेवक उन्हें अस्पताल पहुंचाते रहे. राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के स्वयंसेवक प्रशासन व बचाव कार्यों में लगे विभिन्न एजेंसियों के जवानों के साथ मिल कर दुर्घटना में फंसे घायल यात्रियों को बाहर निकालने में सहायता की.
अखिल भारतीय मातृछाया कार्यकर्ता प्रशिक्षण वर्ग. 2023
राष्ट्रीय सेवा भारती द्वारा देशभर में संचालित प्रकल्प *मातृछाया शिशुग्रह के कार्यकर्ताओं का प्रशिक्षण वर्ग दिनांक 10 जून 2025 को इन्दौर के श्री अग्रसेन महासभा भवन बायपास रोड इंदौर में आयोजित किया जा रहा है।
मातृछाया शिशु गृह के माध्यम से 0-6 वर्ष के नवजात, निराक्षित, परित्यक्त, अनाथ, शिशुओं का पालन पोषण कर उन्हें निःसंतान दम्पतियों को कानूनी प्रक्रियाओं के माध्यम से गोद दिया जाता है।
इस कार्यकर्ता प्रशिक्षण वर्ग में पूरे देश की मातृछाया शिशुग्रहों से 14 प्रांत के- 80 कार्यकर्ता सम्मिलित हुए हैं। इस कार्यकर्ता प्रशिक्षण वर्ग के उद्घाटन सत्र के मुख्य वक्ता
श्री विजय जी पुराणिक ( महामंत्री राष्ट्रीय सेवा भारती) द्वारा बताया गया कि इस कार्यकर्ता प्रशिक्षण के द्वारा सभी मातृछाया, शिशुग्रहों का संकलन समन्वय और बच्चों के कल्याण के क्षेत्र में best practice को विकसित करना है।
उन्होंने बताया कि भारतीय संस्कृति की संकल्पना से विकसित हुआ नाम “मातृछाया है।
मातृछाया शिशुग्रहों में भारतीय संस्कृति के अनुसार शिशुगृहों का आयु अनुसार संस्कारों की अभिपूर्ति की जाती है।
इस प्रशिक्षण वर्ग की अध्यक्षता श्री अजय जी वैश्यपायन (सचिव भैया जी दाणी सेवा न्यास) द्वारा की गई।
इसी प्रकार प्रशिक्षण वर्ग की प्रमुख अतिथि *श्रीमति कशीश जी सतवानी (व्यवसायी एवं समाज सेविका) ने मातृछाया शिशुगृह इंदौर की व्यवस्था एवं संचालन की सराहना की।
इस अवसर पर श्री अनुराग जी पाण्डे मध्य प्रदेश राज्य बाल संरक्षण आयोग भी विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहे।
