Building livelihoods and economic self-reliance through skill training and enterprise support.
Swavlamban is the livelihood and economic empowerment arm of the organisation, working to help individuals and families move from dependence toward sustainable self-sufficiency. The programme runs skill-training batches in tailoring, computer literacy, food processing, and other trades, followed by support in accessing micro-credit, tools, or market linkages. Special attention is given to women heads of households, persons with disabilities, and youth from economically weaker backgrounds. Beyond training, Swavlamban mentors participants through the early stages of setting up small enterprises, helping the skills learned translate into steady, dignified income.
