Seva Bharti, Himachal Pradesh, today, provided immediate relief to our society’s brothers who were rendered homeless due to the severe floods in the Beas river caused by heavy rains. Through our workers, we extended food and relief services to those in need. The workers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Bajrang Dal, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad all cooperated together in this endeavor. We made efforts to reach those who were in dire need.
Our workers delivered ration and blankets to approximately 25 to 30 such families, including a family living on the other side of the river who were all alone. Unconfirmed information suggests that additional help, such as beds, will also be provided to those in need shortly.
Seva Bharti reached the Gram Ghraan village, located about 25 kilometers downstream from IIT Kamand, on the banks of the Pandoh river. In this calamity, 15 families residing there have been affected. We provided assistance to approximately 60 people from these 15 families with relief and food kits.
