Awareness
Seva Bharati ran a coronavirus awareness campaign across Chamba town. Members rang bells in the market to make people alert about the global pandemic and appealed for support to the Janata Curfew.
Seva Bharati district president Sandeep Kumar urged people not to leave home without reason. BJP state executive member Jasbir Nagpal said leaflets were distributed in all shops. Residents were asked to observe the curfew on Sunday and, in the evening, to clap and ring bells from their rooftops to honour the police, health workers and journalists. Shopkeepers said all goods are available and people should not stock up in large quantities.
